The Parliament of the Republic of South Africa is recruiting a Content Advisor for the Joint Standing Committee on Financial Management (IRC7461). This full-time position is based in Cape Town and offers an opportunity to contribute to the oversight and support of committees in financial management matters.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational planning and reporting
Advise committees on procedural matters
Ensure quality assurance of committee processes
Assist committees with budgeting and reporting
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum of five years relevant experience
Skills and Competencies
Strong research and analytical skills
Knowledge of parliamentary policies and procedures
Operational planning and project management skills
Understanding of political sensitivities
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team and under pressure
Computer literacy including MS Office and Outlook
Strong interpersonal and creative abilities
Stress and self-management skills
Willingness to work long or extraordinary hours
