Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality in Carolina, Mpumalanga, invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for its Internship Programme 2025. The programme offers a fixed 12-month contract and provides real workplace exposure.
Internship Details
- Number of Posts: 50
- Duration: 12 months
- Stipend: R3,700 per month (no benefits or allowances)

- Human Resources: 4 posts — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in HR
- Administration: 4 posts (including Head Office & units: Emanzana, Elukwatini, Empuluzi, Ekulindeni) — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in Administration
- ICT: 2 posts — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in ICT (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage)
- Environmental Health: 2 posts — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in Environmental Health
- Town Planning: 5 posts — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in Town Planning
- Social Work: 2 posts — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in Social Development
- Electrical Engineering: 5 posts — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or N-courses + Trade Test
- Legal Clerk: 1 post — Degree in a legal field or Diploma in Paralegal Studies
- Data Capturer (Traffic Section): 1 post — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in Finance
- Water Quality Technician: 10 posts — Degree/Diploma/National Diploma in Water Care
- In-service Training (basic municipal services): 6 posts — Academic record showing theory completion and need for practical training
- Fire Fighters: 8 posts — Grade 12, Firefighter I & II certifications, Hazmat awareness, and First Aid Level 3
